It's for the dog, not a hog!

Just finished up this hog panel garden fence in Meridian, Idaho. I’ve wanted to build one of these for a long time, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. This style combines the clean look of a modern garden fence with the durability and function of a welded hog wire panel fence.
My old boss at Nevada Fence had a similar fence around his swimming pool years ago, and I always thought it looked great. I think this one turned out even better, if I may say so myself.
This particular fence was built to keep the dog out of the garden — honestly, dogs are probably my number one customers these days. I build more dog fences than anything else.
On top of that, my customer gave me some farm-fresh beef from her freezer. We had an amazing Mother’s Day barbecue with T-bone and prime rib steaks. I also got a new bonfire pit to go with my growing stack of suspiciously square cedar logs.
All in all, it was a fun little project. This style of garden fence doesn’t come up very often around Boise and the surrounding Treasure Valley area, but I’d love to build more of them. Hopefully these images convince you to keep the trend going.
